Q: carplay list of available cars

Is there a list o available cars for the CarPlay feature?  My iPhone 6s is having trouble pulling up a list.  Thank you.

    There's one here, though it does not appear to be very accurate.

    As several of the models mentioned ot have it, don;t really have any mention of it in their tech specs page of each specific dealer.

     

     

    The available cars list on the iPhone will just show Car Play enabled cars near the iPhone for it to connect to. It is not a general list of Carplay enabled vehicles.

     

    Also features vary by trim and region for any given vehicle, so its very difficult to maintain an accurate list, when a specific vehicle and trim may have it in one region, but might not in another.

     

    Your best bet is to ask at the Dealership whether the car you are interested has a trim that offers Carplay or if its an additional package.

     

    The confirmed ones so far as far as I know:

    The Ferrari FF.

    2016 Honda Accord (EX Trim only)

    I see what you mean!  I have a 2011 Honda Odyssey Touring model, and I wonder if it might work.  I seem to think I have a button like the one indicated, and was hoping it might be listed.  I guess I'll just have to try it!  Thanks so much.

    Honda only started to support it in ANY model with the 2016's.  And even then, there is no backwards compatibility update for 2015's, so I highly doubt any 2011 model is going to support it.  After all, Apple only released CarPlay in 2014 to begin with.

    Car Play did not exist in 2011. No car from then would have it. Car Play requires hardware built into the cars media center which was only made available in 2014.

     

    Cars made before 2014 would not have it at all. Its only recently begun to be included in the newer cars.
