Q: Family sharing

On my family sharing I am the organizer. I share with my children but one of them shows as an adult. How do i change it to a child? I need to monitor the purchase. Right now purchases can be made with out asking permission

Are they under or over 13 ?

Child accounts are for under-13s, if you put the wrong date of birth on its account : Update the birth date associated with your Apple ID - Apple Support

Ask to buy can be enabled for under-18s : Request and make purchases with Ask to Buy - Apple Support
