DesktopsDevelopers stop supporting some apps occasionally, there's nothing you can do about it.
As to the price change, Apple has recently decided to review the App Store pricing in a number of countries.
If you still need assistance, it is better to contact Apple Support directly:

Jan 21, 2016 12:50 PM in response to D.Cohenby ihatedreamingupusernames,I can't even post a review warning people of this. If someone can turn off the ability to post reviews, surely they can either make the app free or remove it from the store. At the very least, the vendor should post on the description that the app is no longer supported and you should buy at your own risk. It will be a long while before I buy another app.

Apple TVIt might help if you post the actual name of the app.
Apps are supported by their developers not Apple.
If you purchased an app that doesn't perform its function at the time of purchase then Apple should be able to give you a refund. Use https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ and explain the issue.
If an app stops working some after some reasonable period of time, e.g because the developer is no longer running some website it relies on, or because an iOS update has removed functionality, then you are out of luck, stuff happens.

It is the entire collection of icollect apps. I am not overly concerned about the bit of money I spent on the app, I just think people should be able to know this before they buy. Thank you for the link to report a problem. I wasn't able to find it before.

Apple TVAs far as I can tell the http://www.sortitapps.com/ is responsible for the Runner Apps stable. Some of those apps look like they haven't been updated in a good long while.
