    Hi MarkinNam,

Thank you for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.

If you can't hear your iPhone ring, make sure the Ringer And Alerts slider under Settings > Sounds is turned all the way up.

You can find this step and more help with your iPhone sound at If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker.

    All the best.

Thanks Jeremy, I read a little clue here on the forum and it seems the problem MAY be with apps, I have the SLEEP app, some time whilst using the app I turned down the volume control in the app ( not the phone )  it seems like this action has affected the volume for ring tones also, as I am not conversant with iPhone I can't say exactly what I did but it certainly wasn't a Ios7 error or something to do with an update. I will try to recreate the issue and post an update as this a common problem. Mark
