How to change spacing between list items in Pages?

I've set up some spacing after each paragraph to control the distance between the paragraph and the next title.

When using lists, this results in a lot of space between each list item (#2 Alpha). What I want is a list like #2 Bravo, but without having to change the spacing for each item. I could make a new style specifically for lists (with a spacing of '0'), but this will result in my next title hugging my list.

Is there any way in Pages (and Keynote) to get this result? Or should I stick with placing a hard 'return' after my list?

Give your Title a larger Before Paragraph spacing.

Thanks for your time and suggestion.

I've tried this, but this forced me to add a spacing before a paragraph (basic text). Otherwise, there wouldn't be a space between 2 paragraphs of text.

What I'm searching for is a way to make the list behave as 1 paragraph instead of a separate paragraph per bullet/list item.

Like adding a style to <ul> in HTML instead of the <li>.

Styles can be named and applied to all categories of text.

The heads are distinct from the basic text and normally the before space of a head will look right with a preceeding List..

Lists are a series of paragraphs. You can break them up with soft returns but they will not be preceeded by the List leader (bullet, dash, number, whatever).

To get what you want, you usually need to have a "Last List Item" Style which you will apply to the end item of the list, with After Paragraph Spacing, if it is followed by a plain text paragraph that doesn't have Before Paragraph Spacing.
