Q: Answering calls on MBP not working

Hi Guys,

I need some advice.

I recently upgraded to iPhone 6s (running iOS 9.2.1). Also have MBP (running OSX El-Cap 10.11.3). Both devices are on the same wi-fi network, however for some reason I cannot make or receive calls on the MBP. It worked flawlessly with iPhone 5s... I checked through all the available forums. Updated all devices, logged out and in to iCloud numerous times. Event reset all settings on iPhone, yet no resolve. When trying to make a call from MBP (note, iPhone is next to my laptop - for test), I get a pop-up saying "Your iPhone and Mac must be on the same Wi-Fi network"... Facepalm... Tried turing the cellular network off, thus only using wifi... Again, facepalm... To boot, Airdrop is not working either... Handoff works fine though with Safari, mail etc.

Please help! This is so annoying!

Thanks you guys,

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.2.1

Hi, I've the same problem on my Macbook Pro 13'' Retina with OS X 10.11.3 (15D21) and my iPhone 5s with iOS 9.2.1

I think that are some problem in the version 9.2.1 of iOS.

Ok, I solved the problem of sharing content with AirDrop between my iPhone and my Macbook. Even Handoff now works properly.

    Go to Macbook:

    1) Disable Wi-Fi

    2) Disable Bluetooth

    3) Go to /Library/Preferences/

    4) delete com.apple.Bluetooth.plist

    Go to the iPhone:

    1) Disable Bluetooth

    2) Enable Wi-Fi

    3) remove your network from the list

    4) Disable Wi-Fi

    Go to Macbook:

    1) Enable Wi-Fi

    2) Enable Bluetooth

    Go to iPhone

    1) Enable Wi-Fi

    2) Associate your network

    3) Enable Bluetooth

The Airdrop and Handoff now it should work. Don't pair the devices with Bluetooth!
