How to configure DynDNS for IP camera with Airport Extreme?

Hello... I recently bought an airport extreme 6th gen.

I have an IP camera installed on my cabin, which I would like to access remotely for security reasons.

My internet provider does not provide a fixed IP, so I need to be able to access my camera, even if my IP changes.

I understand that I must install a Dyn DNS, but I can't get to configure it on my airport extreme.

Is there any way to do that? If not, Is there any IP camera on the market that's fully compatible with Airport Extreme for remote access?

If you have another computer in the cabin, then you could run a DynDNS updating utility on that computer.

Otherwise, perhaps you should consider a different router for the cabin. You could put the Airport Extreme into Bridge mode and still use it.

it is dissapointing to have to change my router having paid for apple's top one.

Maybe there's a camera with an app, that could solve my problem without changing routers?

You could most likely find a basic router in the $30 plus or minus range. Just lookup the manual for the router on-line and verify it will support DynDNS.

I do NOT know anything about WiFi cameras. So I do not know if any of them will offer DynDNS update services. Technically it is possible, as it is just a computer and if it can run a dynamic DNS updater, that would be the same as a computer running a dynamic DNS updater.

I'm sure there are WiFi cameras that will connect to a server offered by the company that will allow you to connect to the server to finish the connection. Of course the company may charge a fee for that service.

Again, I know very little about WiFi cameras, so I am not a good source of information about this.
