Before 9.2.1., I could rotate my iPhone 6 Plus or iPad and use the orientation lock to set portrait or landscape view. Now with 9.2.1., the orientation lock does nothing and only apps that allow for screen rotation will respond. Anyone else having problems with orientation lock?

I Am having this exact same problem but on an iPad.

Have you tried turning your device off and then on again? Doing that has fixed my problem with the update!
I believe a Force Restart would be a better choice to try and get the feature working again.
Hold Home and Sleep buttons down till screen goes black and an Apple logo pops up onscreen. Release and allow it to finish powering up. iOS equivalent of a Windows Ctrl-Alt-Del.
Thanks for your reply. I really don't have an issue with the iPad, just with the iPhone. I've "force restarted" many times to no avail. Thanks nonetheless.
I have the same issue. Videos that used to get big with screen rotation now stay small. Yes, I have turned the phone off and back on many times. In fact since the 9.2.1 upgrade I have had to reset my phone about once a day for issues like my keyboard totally disappearing. HELP us, Apple!
I have opened a case with support and am still stuck in portrait orientation. Anyone find a resolution? I haven't been able to use my iPad for work and it's pretty frustrating.
I have done the following: rebooted, checked mute switch (it's set to mute not orientation lock), checked control center and done a hard reset through settings.
A friend suggested that the orientation sensor could be off- I hope not. I started experiencing this problem after a software update in early May.
