Error 53 iPhone 6

Hello People,

I've got a iPhone 6 with the error code 53 in iTunes while restoring iOS 9.2.1. I've found out that's it something with the Touch-ID.

The problem is the original Touch-ID sensor is broken (broken connector). The iPhone has no iCloud lock on it i've bought it from a friend.

My question is:

Is there someway to bypass the error 53 while restoring iOS 9.2.1??? I've bought a new Touch-ID sensor button but still gives me the error 53.

The error is being caused by the broken touch ID sensor. There is no way to bypass it. Assuming the screen and/or home button have not been replaced by an unauthorized party, make an appointment at the genius bar and get it fixed by Apple.

There is no way for anyone other than Apple to fix this problem.

If you see an error 53 message in iTunes and “Connect to iTunes” on your iOS device, use the steps in this article to restore and recover your device using iOS 9.2.1 and iTunes on your Mac or PC.
