Q: Missing Project Templates
Since updating to Logic Pro X 10.2.1 I've noticed that two of the built-in project templates are no longer displayed when starting a new project from template. These are the Orchestral and Music For Picture templates. I've checked the package contents and they are indeed there:
I experienced this issue before in some earlier version of Logic and if I remembered correctly I had to re-download the orchestral jam pack in order to make these templates appear. However, I've already installed that and since updating to LPX 10.2.1 I've also downloaded the few remaining sounds that I didn't already have. I've now got the full library of sounds installed. And yet the aforementioned templates still do not appear.
Should I hunt down, uninstall, and reinstall the orchestral jam pack? I wish I could remember how I resolved this before but I'm afraid the ol' gray cells aren't working as well as they used to.
