Lego Mindsorm eV3 software will not run or install after OS X 10.11.3 update.

Lego ev3 software will not run or install after OsX 10.11.3 update. Ran fine on 10.11.2. On launch program gives error message that it has detected a problem during launch. Re-install states only that installation has failed and to contact the software manufacturer. I have not found any logs generated to understand what is the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

I experienced the same problem.

Updating Silverlight to the most current version 5.1.41212.0 solved it !
