Q: My new MacBook Pro stopped responding during set up. Waited 30 minutes and still spinning. What now?

NNew MacBook Pro stopped responding during set up. Checked online help and have followed advice to wait 30 minutes but still spinning. What do I do now? Very impressed!

    Shutdown and restart. If necessary, shutdown by depressing and holding the Power button until it turn off and then release press to restart.

    Thank you, problem solved! I tried holding down the power button but not for long enough apparently!  I also tried Apple Support and was helped to update and install latest operating system -El Capitan. Fingers crossed all will now be well - not a very encouraging start when you open up a brand new laptop. First time I've ever had problems either an Apple Product and it has shaken my confidence a bit.
