How do I turn on iCloud Music Library on my iPod Classic 180Gb

ℹI have an iPod Classic 180Gb which I use solely in the car.

ℹWhen I try to transfer Playlist from 'Apple Music' I get the following message

😕I cannot find an option on my iPod Classic to turn on iCloud Music Library.

😍 Can anybody advise?

I suspect that the answer will be that the iPod Classic does not support Apple Music ➖

I'll be disappointed if I can't do it. Paying £15 per month for Apple Music but not being able to use my iPod Classic in the car with it will suck....😠

Well, it's more basic than that... iPod classic does not have an Internet connection, so it has no way to access your iCloud Music Library. And it does not support Apple Music downloads (subscribed song files you can download from Apple Music), because it cannot verify your subscription (no Internet connection) as required by content producers. The only iPod that can play songs from Apple Music is iPod touch, because it's an iOS device with Internet, like iPhone and iPad.

There's nothing to "fix." Apple Music downloads are "rented" songs (not owned) that require an active subscription to the service. iPods (except iPod touch) do not have an Internet connection, needed to verify subscription.

I have the same issue and I kinda knew the problem, but hoped that it wasn´t so. 😠 I do not understand that they develop something knew and their own products can´t be used. I know it´s a way to get people to up-grade, but still... 😕

Well, I guess I can complain all that I want, and still have the problem. Apple - FIX IT!
