Q: My iphone 6s plus wont connect to itunes so i can restore from my old phone??? my itunes is already up to date...

Somebody please help me! i cant even sync my music or anything because its saying i need the latest version, but it already is the latest??? confused and frustrated!!!

To sync devices with iOS 9 on board, you need iTunes 12.3 or later.

What OS X version you have on your computer?

I have 12.2.2 but when i check for updates its saying i have the latest and cant update?

"The iPhone “iPhone” cannot be used because it requires a newer version of iTunes. Go to www.itunes.com to download the latest version of iTunes."

I check for updates > it tells me i have the latest..

That's the problem. You will need to upgrade your operating system in order to sync the phone. iTunes 12.3 is required.
