Q: Easy notice to know which store accepts Apple Pay

I like to try Apply Pay but seems no easy way to know which store accepts it. I asked a few times at different stores, not noticing any Apple Pay signs, and they said they do not use it.  I found an app that shows the stores that accept Apple Pay but just not so convenient to go through several steps to find the store.  Wish Apple will have an update to send out auto Notice on iPhone or Apple Watch once inside or near store(s) that accepts Apple Pay. Like with Starbuck, once you are near a Starbuck store, it sends out a message to iPhone.

iPhone 6, iOS 9.2

YESSSS you do NOT need the APPLE pay symbol present to be able to use Apple Pay.

NFC is what Apple Pay, Android Pay, Contactless Cards are. They're all the same. If nfc payments are accepted at the register then yes APPLE Pay is accepted. Remember instead of asking "Is Apple Pay accepted" ask yourself " Are nfc payments accepted here"

You're late to the Party, They accepted NFC payments( that's what APPLE pay is for a while)  When Apple pay released and people were inquiring about it they cut off support for ALL contactless payments. I used to use my contactless debit card. Unfortunatly their disdain for Apple Pay forces everyone to suffer because they can not  differentiate between what is actually producing the contactless payment. The register only sees it as a contactless card.
