Several times I have made a call on my iP6 (IOS9) and turned on the speaker so others could listen/talk. Unfortunately, the sound quality was so bad we couldn’t understand the other person, so I decided to turn off the speaker. and continue with the phone to my ear.
Never could figure out how to do it. I was concerned about killing the phone call if I did too much.

Tap the button that you used to turn on the speaker even during the call if needed
It will bring up a menu of all the devices you can send the call to at that moment - bluetooth, vehicle, iPhone
You can choose whichever you want and the call moves over seamlessly

That is the problem. I was looking at the numberpad with the red “phone on” lit. I couldn’t find a speaker icon anywhere.
I looked around the available buttons and menus and never saw a speaker icon.
It is the same as the bluetooth icon
