How to disable others in my family from using find my iPhone

I am in an iCloud family as an adult. My younger brother marked as a child keeps doing the Find my iPhone alerts to me and it's really annoying. I can't have the Organizer do anything. Is there a way to prevent others in my family from using Find my iPhone on me, but still allow Find my Friends?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.2

Meg,

I assumed from the OP he was using Family Sharing and not a common AppleID. If I assumed wrong, then of course you are right. He should be using Family Sharing instead.

No, you're correct. I missed that. Shouldn't be trying to post and eat greasy pizza at the same time. 😉

I'd take away the kid's device until he behaves but I've been told I'm unreasonable.

To clarify, the only option I see is to turn-off Share my Location on your iPhone according to this:

Find My iPhone: Overview

But if he can't log into the app, he can't send you the alert. Log out of the app on his phone/iPad or out of iCloud on the computer he uses. Then, change the iCloud password. He will then not be able to log in.

If you disable location services, nobody can find you. The Family Sharing thing is on or off. No in between I'm afraid.

If it's just your little brother, maybe tape his fingers together for a few days to make your point that his behaviour is affecting you. It's what we would call a teachable moment. Sometimes technology can't solve what is really a chance to parent somebody.

If you want to hide from the whole family, you need to be out of the family sharing plan.
