Is FCP X running well in El Capitan?

I've got a couple of weeks before my next project, so I think it's time to go from Mavericks to El Capitan on my edit system. I'm running a 2009 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Mac Pro with 16GB RAM, and an ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB graphics card. Everything runs just fine at this point. Before I go ahead with this, is FCP X running well under 10.11.13? How about Compressor?

Mac Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5), 16 GB RAM

WWhat version of FCP are you using? You won't be able to run your version on El Capitan. Except for a few bugs and a cosmetic problem in the Dashboard the software is running fine. Before you go ahead with that leap you might want to check your plugin compatibility. They will certainly need to be updated, and not all developers have completed the transition. The pace of OS upgrades and updates from Apple makes it difficult for them.
