How do I know if my iphone 6 is unlocked

Is there a way to confirm that my iphone 6 is unlocked without a different sim card. I was with att.

iPhone 6, iOS 9.0.2

After getting notified by AT&T that your unlock was approved did you restore your iPhone as a new phone in iTunes and get the message, "Congratulations, your iPhone is now unlocked?"
