Right ear of my THIRD pair of earpods is going out. Again.

I'm too scared to send them back to Applecare, being that I'v been through so many pairs in such little time. I'v tried all the cleaning methods, and nothing has worked, and I'm not wiling to crack them open. I'm not doing anything to damage them, and I clean my ears nearly everytime I use them and keeping on my desk, away from my pets. I'm not loosing my hearing in my right ear, and the Earpods do the same thing on other devices. On the right bud, the larger speaker is quiet, but the inner one isnt. I'm too afraid to send them back, since it hasn't even really been a month since the last pair. All I use them for is listening to music on my iPod and computer. I'm so upset and I don't know what to do.
