Q: MacBook Pro retina battery running out SUPER fast, please help?
I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2013) and recently the fan was spinning VERY fast and i did the smc reset, cleared up my laptop a bit and now its okay but the battery has been dropping like crazy. It was 50% at night and i put it to sleep but i wake up and its 0%. In class its always 98 to 40. Please help??

Why not leave it plugged in all night, and plug it in during lunch or during classes it is not needed?
Charging circuits will prevent overcharge. My MBP stays plugged in when not moving, but used down to 30% battery once a month if not more often.
Running to dead just shortens life considerably and it sounds like it has been run dead many times for you. And there have to be a few periods during the day to get in 30 minutes or so of charging during the day.
