Q: Help! I installed Music Memos yesterday with about 900mb free space on my 8gb iPhone 5c. When I tried to record a trial tune I got a message saying I had no space on my phone. Itunes says I have 2.7gb of Other!

Help! I installed Music Memos yesterday with about 900mb free space on my 8gb iPhone 5c. When I tried to record a trial tune I got a message saying I had no space on my phone. Itunes says I have 2.7gb of Other! Anyone else had this?

I did a full restore and got 2.9gb of free space but within one hour (not using phone at all) I was back to 0mb free space. Phone is unusable!

Has anybody else had this and what can I do about it?

iPhone 5c, iOS 9.2.1

Since your not sure what the "other" is I would recommend you to restore your iPhone. I know that you will lose all your data but don't restore it from an iCloud backup so start it as a new phone. You can backup up your picks and if needed write down all your contacts on a sheet of paper and then add them back. Depending on how bad you want that storage

Yes that's what I did in the end and it seems ok. My contacts seem to survive total restores as they are on Outlook. Had to completely reconfigure my Apple Watch though....
