    Hi Chloejames12345,

Take a look at the notification settings for each of your apps in the resource below.  Is it possible that you have Do Not Disturb turned on?  Try closing the apps that you are having an issue with, restart your iPhone and launch them again.

Use Notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

    Change Notifications settings

Some apps like email or social media apps send frequent notifications, which might affect battery life. If you have Show on Lock Screen turned on for notifications, this also might affect battery life.
To turn off or change notifications, go to Settings > Notifications and select the app. You can also sort your alerts by most recent, order them manually, or group them based on the app.

If you don't see notifications for a specific app

To get notifications, you need to be connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. If you’re not getting notifications for a specific app, try these steps:
Make sure that the app supports notifications. Go to Settings > Notifications, select the app, and make sure that Notifications are turned on.
Make sure that you’re signed in to your Apple ID on your iOS device. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores and enter your Apple ID and password.
Make sure that Do Not Disturb is turned off. Go to Settings > Do Not Disturb and tap Manual if it's turned on.
If you’ve recently installed an app or restored from a backup, open the app to start getting notifications.

Notifications use Wi-Fi only when a cellular connection is unavailable. Firewalls and proxy servers might affect your ability to receive notifications. Get help using Apple Push Notification service (APNs).

If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker

    Take care,

I had this problem, and after you check all the other obvious causes the only thing to do is a full system reset. Take your phone back to factory settings. Do a full backup first though! Its a pain to have to do this but it will work.
