Trouble changing Username

I am in the process of changing my name and want to change my username. Can someone help with this? I can't find it. It has come up in my apple mail and I have looked everywhere I can think of to change it.

No. On my iCloud account and I think iTunes. It is attached to an email that I no longer use and I changed the email associated with it yet the email address is my user name.

Hi Teresa,

Having the same issues here but with my apple ID which I'm trying to change to my new iCloud email. My partner's Applie ID ends with: iCloud.com but when I try to edit my email via the iTunes on my MAC it will not let me and says: you cannot use an email ending in: iCloud.com ?????

Can someone please elaborate ...
