Configure Siri Remote to turn on/off bose solo 15 Speakers

I have been able to configure siri remote to control volume for my Bose solo 15 speakers but the speakers do not turn on/off when i turn on/off my apple tv. Only my Samasung TV turns on/off with the Siri Remote.

Apple TV (4th generation), iOS 9.2.1, Bose Solo 15
