Q: cannot install OS X El Capitan 10.11.3

MacBook Pro (Retina 13-inch mid 2014), 3Ghz core i7, now using El Capitan version 10.11.2. Cannot install 10.11.3 because keep getting "cannot verify download"

The same thing happened to me, but the error message actually suggested re-downloading from the Apple Store and even launched the Apple Store for me. And the second time it worked. Not confidence-inspiring.
