why wont my new macbook charge?
hello guys. my macbook wont charge or turn on. dont tell me to try basic stuff like clean out the slots. i have tried pretty much everything. and the charger is new too. please help. the light wont appear
If you have tried everything, perhaps a visit to an authorized Apple service provider
could be helpful because there are things they can do to further diagnose the issue.
Is the computer in question a new 12-inch MacBook Retina, that has no optical drive,
and has only USB-C ports for charging and attaching peripherals? If not, then you
should further describe the build model year and exact product, since there are many
different products with the MacBook name, from 2006; including /Air, /Pro, and the
name has been recycled again for the new metallic retina 12-inch for 2015+.
If the battery had been run too low, then computer would not be able to do anything;
it may take several hours charging before any evidence of booting could appear. If
the battery has been let run flat, on several occasions, that can damage the battery
and the result would be short battery life and perhaps other damages as well.
