Q: How do I create Multiple Game Center accounts on multiple devices with one Apple ID

Our Apple devices multiplied this past Christmas. We now have 3 IPad Gen 3 and 1 IPad Mini Gen 1, a couple of iPod touches as well as 2 Apple Smartphones. (Lots of Apple Money $$$$) All my boys want is to play the same games. I have one Apple ID. I have tried for hours to figure out how to setup multiple Game Center Accounts. (All of the devices associated with the ID have IOS 9.2) The IPad mini is the oldest with games that Absolutely Cannot be lost. Every time I change the nickname on ANY device it changes on ALL of them. We are not setup to sync. This shouldn't be this hard. They should be able to download the same games without messing up the others saved progress. I am not setting up multiple Apple accounts. I just need multiple game accounts with unique names and games. PLEASE help. I've spent too long on this.

    Hi lesterfamily3705,

I understand that you're looking to set up multiple Game Center accounts for your kids. In such a setting, your best option is to create a family group from the main Apple ID, then create accounts for each child so that they may have their own Game Center accounts. More information on setting up Family sharing can be found at the link below.

Note that Family Sharing allows for the sharing of purchased apps, so, as long as the app has Family Sharing allowed by the developer, there's no need to purchase the app again for any account in a family group.
