Q: icloud says backup not complete

I am unable to do a back up to icloud. Have tried everything I can think of. Reset the phone. So frustrating as I want to go onto a new iphone 6 but not sure if I will have any of my photos that are not showing on the icloud photo's. I have manually put 900 photo's to icloud photo's but have 4000 to go....what can I do?

I backed up to my computer so hopefully all my photo's will be there, but when I look at all images at least 10 months back there are no photo's uploaded to images....

Any suggestions.

Transfer content from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to a new device - Apple Support
if icloud does not work, you can use instructions for itunes.
