iphone 5 netwrok issues after ios 9.2.1 upgrade

I am also facing the same issue. My iPhone 5 is not connecting to Cellular network AFTER iOS 9.2.1 upgrade.

Even I am facing same network issue with iOS 9.2.1 on my iPhone 5 and my service provider is Airtel.I tried restart ,remove /reinsertsim card ,reset network settings and restore nothing worked.Finally I plugged in my SIM card in my wife's andriod mobile and checked network was full .After removing SIM card from wife's mobile and reinserted in my iphone it started working to my surprise .This has happened to me couple of times and it is highly unpredictable when iPhone 5 stops ditecting network .It is high time Apple fix this bug ASAP.

I am facing this same issue with my iphone 5s and US Cellular network

I use Straight Talk wireless. I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 9.2.1 on 01/23/16, & since then I have been unable to access any data & cannot access the internet without wifi. I've called Straight Talk for assistance & they haven't been able to help me at all. This is EXTREMELY frustrating!

I waited to update to the latest iOS as I am sick of being a beta tester for Apple.

lo and behold, I updated my iOS and all of a sudden, I'm here because I'm getting SIM card errors!

Never had a problem in 8 months with this phone and an iOS update has screwed me!
