Errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1611, 9006.
Sometimes security software can stop your device from communicating with either the Apple update server or with your device.
Check your security software and settings to make sure that they aren't blocking a connection to the Apple servers.
If you still see the error message, check for USB connection issues.

When I trie to upgrade with any previous version even ios 5.0.0 : It says that the IPSW file isn't compatible with my device.
I checked it's the appropriate file for my device...

Jan 25, 2016 4:24 AM in response to patrick92100by lllaass,You will get errors when you try to restore/update to all but the latest iOS version for your model device which is 9.2.1.
Disable the firewall on the Mac and uninstall any antivirus.
If still problems try the check for USB connection issues.
