Q: iAds not showing in game

Hi,

 

I have 3 games that are currently on the App Store.

 

Winter Dodge: Shows Banner Ad.

Spooky Shots: Shows Interstitial Ad.

Frozen Ninja Run: Has Banner Ad & Interstitial correctly implemented however, they do not show.

 

They all have iAd enabled. 

 

For Frozen Ninja Run, when I run the app in the simulator the ads show, but they do not on the live app.  The app has been on the app store for over a month now, and I haven't seen ONE ad after weeks of monitoring.

 

Does anyone know why this is or how I can resolve it?  Is there a way to contact the Apple iAd team so they can fix it?  I'm not sure where i'm going wrong because the code is perfect and my iAd contract is clearly fine because the ads work in the other apps?

 

Any help would be appreciated.  If this isn't the right place to post this, do let me know where I can.

    I'm in a similar situation. Just released an app a few days ago that isn't showing it's banner ad. It's using the same setup from a previous app that IS showing banners currently - so I'm reasonably certain there isn't a technical reason on my end for them not showing. Searching around the internet I've found a couple of potential explanations.

     

    1. iAd hasn't approved your app yet. This is apparently a separate review process from the app store and can take 4 - 5 days (probably doesn't apply to you since yours has been out for over a month)

     

    2. Due to the recent announcement of iAd being discontinued, there just isn't any ad inventory to display.

     

    I'm guessing #2 applies to both of us but that's totally a hunch. In any case it's best to contact iAd support for the official explanation. Incidentally, that's how I found this thread - looking for iAd support email
