Q: iOS 9 upgrade killed my iPad - error 9

Hi people,

today during the morning I was prompt to upgrade my iPad Air, and during the upgrade an error 9 occurred, and now my iPad is completely dead. The iTunes identifies its presence, but the error still occurs.

The result, is that iTunes can't restore it or even upgrade it, and I only get a black screen from the iPad. It was working perfectly just before.

There is something that I can do to fix this?

Thanks.

iPad Air, iOS 9

    Check your security software

    Errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1611, 9006.

Sometimes security software can stop your device from communicating with either the Apple update server or with your device.

Check your security software and settings to make sure that they aren't blocking a connection to the Apple servers.

If you still see the error message, check for USB connection issues.

If the USB connection between your device and computer is interrupted, you might not be able to update or restore.
