Q: Spotlight running slow

Ever since I started using Maverix, Spotlight has run slowly.  It is almost as if it does not have a pre-indexed set of data to work from, but is doing a complete search.

Any idea why?  Any idea how to get it working like it should with a fully indexed system to work from and immediate response to a search query?
