Removing blemishes

Hello all, I am videoing for youtube, but they have acne. How can I mask or blot out the offending blemish. I looked for videos on this and could not find anything for motion 5.


Thank in advance for any help you can offer.

there are several methods to handle blemishes, ...

depends on, how much your subject/camera moves


in this thread << click, someone uses the censor tool - a very creative idea.

or, there are cheap plugins, this one << click for example (look out for sales!), here, your subject is allowed to move.

or, speaking of tracking , well known SliceX offers a spot-fix features ...

well, when you watch the screenshots in that thread closely, you notice

a) two times applied Censor effect

b) two 'circles' of blur:

so, this works really just for very static shots ... and then I'd pshop the pic 😁


if you own SliceX - for sure, use that.

The other plugin comes handy 'cause it detects 'skin' automatically... no manual masking nor tracking needed.
