how can i regain date no longer printed at bottom of page since i updated ipad software?

The only places I know of with the date are the Lock screen and Notification Center. Do you have a specific page in mind ?

my recollection is that the date appeared at the bottom of all the printed pages.
could i be confusing pages coming from my pc w pages from ipad? remotely possible.
Thanks for the clarification. It took me a minute to dig out some things I printed two years ago. The internet articles had the date where you said it would be. Photos and maps printed right from the iPad didn't have the dates. Unfortunately I haven't printed anything recently, sorry.
