My iPod Touch 5 freezed all the time and need to force restarting every minute. It also went off and restarted itself even when I left it untouched like overnight. It started acting like this since early of this month. Any suggestions please...

First, try a "force restart":

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Then, plug it into a computer and use iTunes and update the iOS to backup the device and then update it to the latest iOS version available.

If that doesn't solve anything then you should try backing up your device using iCloud and iTunes, then erase all content and settings, and then a restore:

Use iTunes to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

If that doesn't resolve it then take it in to an Apple store for a hardware test.
