I have a problem with restoring my backup

I have a problem with restoring my backup since it asks me for encryption password. When I have backed up the phone, the encryption option was checked on and it did not ask for a password. Now, I am not sure how can I decrypt it to restore my phone. Is there a default password used in this case?

Unfortunately, there's no default password. If you forget your password, you will need to erase the phone or use iCloud.

You can't use an encrypted backup if you don't have the password. If you forgot your password, the only way to turn off backup encryption on your device is to erase your device and set up as new. Erasing removes all data from your device. If you don't want to erase your device, restore from an iCloud backup instead.
