I am thinking of publishing my book on iTunes or iBooks and am a little baffled by the two, so I am trying to figure which, if either, is worth the effort and how to go about it. I'm starting to wonder if it is worth selling it on either. The lack of much presence in this community makes me wonder even more...

Normally people only post in the community when they need technical help in submitting their books to the iBookstore or in using the iBooks Author and other composing apps. So the traffic here doesn't necessarily say much about the number of authors using Apple's store or their happiness with the sales results.
