how do I change to have aol as my website when I go online?

most browser today start up as how they were when you closed it down
I'm sure chromes preferences should have a way to disable that
I'm using google chrome. in chrome preferences, when I put in AOL as my start up page and press ok then go online, it does not go to AOL

Just what does happen?
In Chrome go to Settings>On Startup and dot the Open a specific page or set of pages. Then "set pages" to what you want.
It now goes straight to AOL.
