camera roll show two same photos each time I take/download a photo/picture

Everytime I took a picture, camera roll always show two of the same photo. Same thing when I download a picture or video from the internet or even whatsapp. But when I delete one of the duplicate, both of them get deleted, if I select two of the same photo, it only says "1 Photo Selected". HDR turn off, iCloud Photo Library off, My Photo Stream off, iCloud Photo Sharing off. I tried to look it up, but so far I can't find the solution. Tried to sync it to iTunes, Import to Photos app on my Mac, even do the hard reset but none of them fix the problem.

I'm using a brand new iPhone 6s (upgrading from iPhone 5), running on iOS 9.2.1.

I hope that picture shows the problem. Sorry for bad English/grammar

Hello there endeavor1886,

It sounds like your photos app is visually duplicating your photos but there is really only one in the app. I would quit the Photos app first:

Force an app to close in iOS

1. Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps.
2. Swipe left to find the app you want to close.
3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.

When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:

iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If the issue persists, backup your device to iTunes, then restore it as new and verify that it works.

How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backup

If it does, then restore your backup to either verify it still works and the software just needed reinstalled, or isolate the issue to the backup file itself. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Thank you for the solution. I ended up erasing all the data and setup as a new iPhone again.
