opening old projects on a different computer

I used to have final cut pro 10.1 on my old laptop which I have recently sold. Now I have the trial on my new laptop and wanted to open some old projects. Before I sold the computer I moved the projects and events from the final cut pro projects and events folders. Is there any way to now open these old folders in the new software? The picture is what the folder contents look like and I've tried to move the folder into the new library folder but then it doesn't show up in the application.
