Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! Congratulations on the purchase of your new iPhone, and I'm sorry to hear of the issue that occured during setup. If there was a typo or mistake during the entry of your email address for account creation at setup, you may need to sign out of all of the Apple ID services on your iPhone, then change the Apple ID information via the Apple ID website before signing back in on your device.
