Q: New iPhone 6S no photos or apps

Hi There,

I have upgraded from iPhone 5S to iPhone 6S. I have backed up on iTunes and then restored onto iPhone 6S. My photos and apps are on iTunes but won't restore onto new iPhone. The apps show but all starting from new eg. All game progress has been wiped. I have wiped the phone and restored again but with no luck. iTunes and iPhone has the latest updates.

Can anyone tell me when I'm going wrong?? Help!

Transfer content from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to a new device - Apple Support

Pictures in your camera roll and app data are part of the iTunes backup.

Apps aren't part of it.

From what your describing doesn't sound like you backed up your 5S.

Plug the 5S back in and do the backup again, follow the link provided.
