Checking for software update on iPad 2 and it keeps loading all day
Was checking for software updates on ipad2, and it kept loading. Tried in am and afternoon and still loading. All apps are closed. How do I correct this ?

Hi Celestial, if you are trying this update over the air, try updating through iTunes instead. Just connect your iPad to your PC or Mac, open iTunes and select your iPad on the left upper corner. An update window should pop up but if not on the Summary window that opens just click on update.
Before you do the above I also suggest the following, a forced restart. Hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15-20 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it comes up. You will not lose anything. Then sign out of the iTunes Store and sign back in.
