ipod 3rd gen wont turn on
my ipod touch 3rd generation is plugged into my laptop and it says its charging, (it often goes to apple logo) but will not turn on or connect to iTunes.

Hi there Cloverluvsbvb,
It sounds like your iPod recognizes that it is charging when connected to your computer, but doesn't get to the lock screen nor is it recognized in iTunes. I would suggest the troubleshooting in the following article for that issue:

You can probably skip the section titled " If your device still won't turn on or start up " since it does appear to be charging without issue. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities, take care.
