Q: how do I use one icloud and one itunes account for three devices?

My wife and I have 2 x iphone 5's and one Ipad and would like to share our icloud storage, photo storage and music library.

Currently we have a complete mish mash of IDs and passwords and can't get backups to work with both phones' storage close to full. We have almost 60gb of icloud storage available to us but can't get back up to work.

We would like to be able to use one ID, one password for everything.

Help. How do we do this? Apple Store suggested logging out of Icloud and logging back in to get the backups working but we are concerned that our IDs and passwords may not work due to the confusion we seem top have created.
