How do I get DropBox as one of the items in my Status Menu?

What status menu are you referring to? I've never heard of such a thing.

Go to the following URL on "Max Basics: Desktop" and look at #4 annotation on the top illustration with its corresponding description below the illustration:

Click on the blue title above.
You mean you want to get the Dropbox icon in the menu bar, right?
That's automatic when you install Dropbox and launch it.
