Q: iPhone 6 not tracking activity
I have set up my Apple Watch's Activity app, providing my height, weight, age, calorie goals, etc. It seems to track everything fine on the watch, recording my steps, exercise and calories burned without issue.
However, when I go to the Activity app on my iPhone 6s, with which the watch has been paired since the beginning, I am shown the initial setup screen that tells me:
To start using the app on your iPhone, first set up Activity on your Apple Watch.
Obviously, I have already done this. I'm getting activity updates and weekly summaries on the watch, but I can't seem to do anything Activity-related on the phone. I have tried resetting the watch entirely, and have had no luck. At this point, I'm considering wiping the phone and starting over again, though I'd like to avoid that, if possible.
Is there something I'm missing?

If the issue persists, either:
- Erase and reset both your iPhone and your Apple Watch and set both up as new devices:
- Unpair your watch via the Watch app:
- Restore your iPhone to factory settings and then set it up (without restoring it from backup):
- Pair your Apple Watch with your iPhone:
- Or you may find that a variation enables you to partially restore your iPhone (excluding Health data and other sensitive data):
- Start by making an unencrypted backup of your iPhone:
- This must only be done via iTunes on a computer (because iCloud backups are encrypted as standard);
- Do not select the option to Encrypt iPhone backup;
- How to back up your devices using iCloud or iTunes - Apple Support
- Restore your iPhone as new:
- Use iTunes to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
- When you see the option to Restore or Update, choose Restore;
- After the Restore completes, during setup, restore your iPhone from the unencrypted backup;
- If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
- Pair your watch, setting it up as a new watch (do not restore it from backup):
- Start by making an unencrypted backup of your iPhone:
