Jan 29, 2016 2:59 AM in response to The Topperby BobHarris,★HelpfulI know of 2 issues with Safari in El Capitan
1) ESET anti-virus interferes with Safari (maybe other anti-virus interfere as well).

Jan 29, 2016 2:58 AM in response to thunderzzzby The Topper,For some strange reason - the problem has gone this morning! Was about to try your suggestion but when I went into Safari the problem had gone (so far) - don't know why because I rebooted a couple of times yesterday and it still didn't work. Many thanks anyway - I'll keep a note of your resetting Safari details.

Oct 19, 2016 1:22 AM in response to thunderzzzby Atreas Palmyris,I am afraid that didn't work at all !
Safari keeps crashing despite most remedies posted so far!
It's just highly frustrating as Apple ignores probably thousands of posts regarding this problem...
